What do ultrasound studies reveal about fetal pain?

Ultrasounds show coordinated movement, stress responses, and nociception well before 20 weeks. Scripture already testifies to living children in the womb (Luke 1:41). These studies confirm what the Bible declares: the preborn child is alive. Fetal pain, when detectable can often be used to appeal to a sensitive conscience.

But as abolitionists, we oppose murder even if it is painless-because it is wrong, not because of the pain caused to the one being murdered. Avoid frivolous, useless arguments about fetal pain other than if someone else brings it up.
