How do chemical abortions impact women's health?

Question #37

Like all sin, chemical abortions (mifepristone/misoprostol) are bad for the sinner as well as the one sinned against. By starving your child to death, then expelling him or her, you naturally incur consequences to your own health as well. Risks include hemorrhage, infection, or other problems. Sin always carries with it risk and danger. These risks are meant to lead you away from the sin.

This is evidence of the Goodness of God. God has created our world in such a way that to do what violates His law is dangerous for us. This is a protective mechanism He has provided to aid us in our fight against the flesh.

Scripture warns against shedding innocent blood (Proverbs 1:16) and calling evil good (Isaiah 5:20). Built-in consequences for a sin as heinous as child-murder is a mercy of God meant to lead us to repentance and faith in Christ.
