How can churches prepare legal help for mothers pressured to abort?

Churches can identify trusted attorneys, establish benevolence funds, and create rapid-response teams to stand with mothers facing coercion. Teach members their rights, document threats, and intervene early. Proverbs 31:8-9 calls us to speak up for those being crushed, the voiceless; legal help is one way love protects both mother and child.

Although women are guilty of murder in God's eyes when they kill their children, many women feel very conflicted as their conscience accuses them during the decision-making process. It is during this time that firm proclamation of the evil of abortion and tangible help being offered should display the light of Christ to those in need of both these things.

Churches ought to start and support actual gospel-proclaiming pregnancy resource centers where women can receive good counsel and the support they need as mothers.
