Should abortion be punished by law?

Yes. A just government must punish those who take innocent life (Romans 13:3–4). Equal justice under the law requires that abortion be treated as homicide.

Abortion is not a private medical choice—it is a public act of violence. The role of civil government is to restrain evil and protect the innocent (1 Peter 2:13–14).

Forgiveness is found in Christ, but justice must still be done. Mercy and law are not enemies when both follow God’s standard (Micah 6:8)
